Welcome to NAMDL!

The National Association of Military Defense Lawyers (NAMDL) was founded in 2006 with the goal of ensuring justice to American military service members facing court martial charges, non-judicial punishment (NJP), court martial appeal, administrative separation, or other actions under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Our secondary objective is to bridge the gap between military defense counsel and civilian court martial lawyers.

We are striving to become a primary resource and collaborative forum for military and civilian defense attorneys around the world.

This site is designed as both an open forum for the discussion of court martial and military justice policies and practice as well as a private online service for members of NAMDL.
